"When it comes to hurricanes, we know the chaos firsthand. I'm as a native Floridian who’s weathered 10 hurricanes and experienced real damage. After seeing how overwhelming most hurricane advice can be—scattered information, endless lists, and confusing steps—we created Hurricane Hub to make storm preparedness simple and trusted. Here, you'll find expert guidance, supplies, and lessons learned—so you’re always ready when the next storm arrives."

Hurricane Hub was born out of personal experience.
After going through a major storm unprepared, I realized how overwhelming and scary it can be to try to get your family ready — especially when you’re not sure what you need or where to start. That’s why I started this site: to make hurricane prep easier, clearer, and more accessible for everyday people. I put together the same resources, product lists, and checklists I wish I had back then.

For Florida: The GOAT, Dennis Phillips

Back in 2004, when all the crazy spaghetti models had Florida looking like a dartboard and three hurricanes were barreling toward us, there was one guy who consistently got it right — Dennis Phillips. If you live in Florida, you have to give him a follow. Dennis is the hurricane ninja — calm, clear, and accurate when it matters most. Honestly, he’s the only weatherman I even bother tuning into during hurricane season.
Just to be clear — Dennis is not affiliated with Hurricane Hub, I just really appreciate how he keeps it real when the storms start flying. Plus, he has a great feed with solid resources, and I’ll be reposting a lot of his updates — especially his famous hurricane rules. Give him a follow by clicking here:
